Handcrafted Soap Made From Natural Ingredients   

Our handmade soaps are primarily made from natural, moisture-rich vegetable oils. They contain no animal byproducts, alcohols, chemical hardeners, detergents, phthalates, sulfates, or sugar solutions.  The Clear Soap is our only soap that contains a surfactant. These soaps are not elaborate blends of chemicals and detergents, which can be harsh on your skin and also can have a negative environmental impact due to manufacturing waste and their limited biodegradability.

These soaps rinse clean, leaving behind little to no moisturizing oils.

To get the best lather, use with a wet bath pouf or washcloth!

• COLOR: Castile, Goat, and OM (Oatmeal) soaps can only be colored in pastel shades. For example, of you choose "pink" for a custom order, the color will be a pastel pink. 
• COLOR: Shaving soaps may have a grey or green or grey-green hue (depending on the fragrance) that will mix with your chosen color (custom orders) due to the bentonite. Shaving soap will not have glitter.
• COLOR: Scrub and Scrub Lite soaps only come in a grey or grey hued color due to the pumice powder. If you choose a color to be added, it will be pastel. For example, of you choose "pink" for a custom order, the color will be a grey-pastel pink.
• SHAPES: Scrub and Scrub Lite soaps. The best shapes for Scrub Soap are the "Rectangle Scrub" and "Roundy Scrub" and these are in the Drop Down List. If you prefer another shape for a custom order, please contact us to find out if it is possible: info@destinationwax.com.
• COLOR: Scents that contain vanilla: Certain fragrances contain vanilla and will turn tan/brown/gray over time. This is normal; just be aware that scents containing vanilla can turn color in a matter of weeks, sometimes longer. Lavender:Twilight, in particular, can turn color fairly quickly.

AV Soap  --  You will get a moderately bubbly lather using with a wet bath pouf or washcloth.  A great summer soap!

Castile Soap  --  Our castile soap is mainly olive oil and provides a clean, fluffy lather.
For centuries, an all-vegetable-based soap was made in the Castile region of Spain from local olive oil. By the 20th century, castile soap had come to mean any vegetable oil-based soap, as distinct from animal (tallow) fat-based soap.
Ingredients:  Olive Oil (kosher grade A extra virgin), Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein (conditioner), Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener), Castor Oil (organic, hexane-free), phthalate-free fragrance, cosmetic grade colorants

Clear Soap  --  This is our only soap made with a mild surfactant. We use this for small embedded decorations only.
Ingredients:  Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Coco Amidopropyl Betaine (surfactant from coconut oil & Dimethylaminopropylamine), Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein (conditioner), phthalate-free fragrance, cosmetic grade colorants

Goat Soap  --  Has a delicate creamy lather.
Ingredients:  Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, vegetable origin), Goat's Milk (refrigerated liquid Vitamin D Goat's Milk), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein (conditioner), Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener), Castor Oil (organic, hexane-free), phthalate-free fragrance, cosmetic grade colorants

Goat Soap Simple  --  No added fragrance and no added colorant. Has a delicate creamy lather.

Honeybee Soap  --  Has a lustrous, silky lather.
Ingredients:  Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, vegetable origin), Honey (pure & natural grade A), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier) & Soybean Protein (conditioner), Castor Oil (organic, hexane-free), phthalate-free fragrance, cosmetic grade colorants

Honeybee Soap Simple  --  No added fragrance and no added colorant. This will have a light, natural scent of honey. Has a lustrous, silky lather.
Ingredients:  Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, vegetable origin), Honey (pure & natural grade A), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier) & Soybean Protein (conditioner), Castor Oil (organic, hexane-free)

HSO Soap  --  Has a smooth lather… velvety smooth.
Ingredients:  Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Safflower Oil, Hemp Seed Oil (unrefined), Glycerin (kosher, vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein (conditioner), Castor Oil (organic, hexane-free), phthalate-free fragrance, cosmetic grade colorants

Shaving Soap  --  A lovely bar that is not just for shaving. Wet the bar and rub on a wet bath pouf or washcloth for a smooth & foamy lather! The Bentonite Clay adds some "slip" for smoother shaving and makes for a luxurious facial soap.
Ingredients:  Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein (conditioner), Wheat Protein (to increase lather), Castor Oil (organic, hexane-free), Bentonite Clay, phthalate-free fragrance, cosmetic grade colorants (Shaving Soap will not have glitter)

Scrub Soap  --  Great for hands, feet, arms, legs!  Do not use on the face or on sensitive, delicate, and/or damaged skin.
Ingredients:  Castile Soap [Olive Oil (kosher grade A extra virgin), Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin kosher, vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein (conditioner), Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener), Castor Oil (organic, hexane-free), phthalate-free fragrance, cosmetic grade colorants], poppy seeds, ground pumice, and shredded loofah

Scrub Lite Soap  --  Great for hands, feet, arms, legs!  Should not be used on the face or on sensitive, delicate, and/or damaged skin. This has less pumice than our Scrub Soap and no loofah.
Ingredients:  Castile Soap (Olive Oil (kosher grade A extra virgin), Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Oat Protein (conditioner), Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener), Castor Oil (organic, hexane-free), phthalate-free fragrance, cosmetic grade colorants, poppy seeds, ground pumice

Bar Size:  All soaps except Slices are shown in the photos with approximate fluid ounces (volume), not in finished weight. Slices are shown with approximate finished weight.

Fragrances: Most of our soaps are scented with fragrance oils (all phthalate-free) and/or essential oils. Soaps labeled, “Simple”, have no added fragrance. Honeybee Simple Soaps have no added fragrance, however, they will naturally have a light scent of honey.

Colors: Most of our soaps contain cosmetic grade colorants. These include micas, clays, pigments, plant-derived colorants, activated charcoal, coconut carbon powder, and glitters. Colors may be different from what is shown online and can vary from bar to bar. Colors may change as the bar gets used.  Some soaps have mica and/or glitter on their surface; this mica and/or glitter will wash off after a few uses and the bar will have more lather after that. Although the lather on all bars is nearly always light in color, we recommend that you do not use white or light-colored cloths or towels with soaps of dark or rich colors. Soaps labeled, “Simple” have no added colorants. Shaving Soap will not have glitter.

Loofah, Oatmeal, Poppy Seeds, Pumice, and Salts: Soaps containing loofah, ground oatmeal, poppy seeds, pumice,  and/or salts should not be used on the face or on sensitive or damaged skin.

Packaging: Most bars are partially shrink-wrapped in polypropylene and then sealed in a polypropylene bag so the packaging may look clunky. This is necessary to protect the soaps in the mail. Use a sharp scissors to carefully cut off the polypropylene shrink wrap. Keep soaps sealed in their original packaging or sealed in a polypropylene bag until ready to use.

 Shelf Life and Storage:  Although the soaps do not have an indefinite shelf life, their lathering and cleansing qualities will remain for at least a year.  After a time, however, appearance and colors may change, fragrances may fade, and soaps may shrink slightly as they begin to lose moisture. Soaps may develop a translucent or white “glycerin dew”, which is beads of water being drawn from the air onto the soap surface. If this happens, you can simply use the soap or place it in the sun until the beads evaporate or wipe with a clean cloth. Do not let soaps sit in water; they will last longer if stored on a self-draining dish or on a soap-saver/soap-lift.

Apple Blossom  --  Sweet apple blossoms.

Apple Sage  --  A clean herbal blend of apples and light sage.

Beach Bonfire – Salty sea air, sweet marshmallows, and  smoldering  embers – fresh and warm at the same time and not smoky.

Beautiful Day  --  Fruity flower blend of apples, melon, pear, water lily, cyclamen, and blonde woods. Similar to BBW.

Black Cedar & Juniper  --  Cedar, citrus, florals, juniper.  Like the Jo Malone fragrance.

Black Vetyver Coffee  --  Compare to Jo Malone "Black Vetyver Café". Black coffee, vetiver, incense, and sequoia.

Blackberry & Bay  --  Blackberries, bay leaf, grapefruit, flowers, fruits, vetiver, and cedar (Jo Malone type).

Blackberry Musk  --  Sweet and tart blackberries combined with a light musk.

Blackwood --  Black pepper, chili pepper, cedar, and juniper (Jo Malone type).

Bonsai  --  Strong, fresh, green “soapy “ scent.

Chamomile Tea  --  Chamomile tea, sweet and fresh. A lovely spa scent.

Christmas Tree  --  Fresh fir balsam.

Coconut Dream  --  Coconut, flowers, and peaches.

Coffee:Coco Kona Mocha  --  Rich Kona coffee with chocolate, coconut, vanilla cream, and a touch of cardamom. This soap will turn darker brown over time due to the vanilla.

Corfu  --  A fragrant garden terrace on the Greek island of Corfu…fresh cedar, fir, lavender, and citrus.

Cranberry Fig  --  Tart cranberries, fresh fig leaves, and a touch of clove.

Day of the Dead  --  Neroli, lime, and frankincense…fruity and sugary.  Compare to Lu$h.

Dragon's Blood  --  Rich, aged patchouli with florals, citrus, and fruit.

Frasier Fir  --  Siberian Fir, cedarwood, and sandalwood. Thymes "Frasier Fir" type.

French Green Tea  --  A fresh blend of white flowers, bitter orange, lemon zest, and green tea leaves.

Fresh Dirt & New-Mown Grass  --  Wonderful springtime scent. Clean, freshly dug dirt and clean, fresh-cut grass.

Ghostess  --  Parma Violets and lightly toasted marshmallow.

Grapefruit Peach Gelato  --   Creamy scent of grapefruit, peaches, tropical fruits, and a swirl of rhubarb. A lovely and soft grapefruit scent without the sour…you can smell the rhubarb more in wax than in soap. Discontinued.

Honey:Clementine  -- Juicy sweet clementines  drizzled with orange blossom honey.

Honey:Honeysuckle  --  Honey and fragrant wild honeysuckle.

Honey:Patchouli   --  Honeycomb and patchouli with light notes of sweet candied fruit & lemon peel.

Honey:Sweet Bee  --  Fresh, fruity and sweet: strawberries, apples, grapes, oranges, spices, and a touch of honey. 

Honey:Toffee  --  Honey, flowers, fruit, and toffee. Compare to "Honey, I Washed the Kids" by "Lu$h".

Honeysuckle Gardenia  --  A beautiful blend of honeysuckle and gardenia blossoms.

Lady Grey  --  A blend of black teas infused with a hint of bergamot oil, lemon peel.

Lavender:Black Amber --  Amber, lavender, Tonka bean, Egyptian musk, patchouli, myrrh, and clary sage.

Lavender:Fresh  --  Lightly floral lavender with a fresh soap note.  Very fresh and bracing in soap.

Lavender:Lullabye  --   A sweet blend of lavender, lilac, and mimosa.

Lavender:Mint  --  Tingling herbal mint with a splash of lavender. This scent is a little softer in soap than in wax.

Lavender:Nicotiana  --  Lavender:Twilight blended with Tobacco Sugar (sweet lavender, lilac, tonka bean, ylang ylang, tobacco leaf, caramel, orange sugar, and bourbon). Will turn brown or grey over time due to the vanillin content.

Lavender:Provence  --  The scent of lavender blossoms.

Lavender:Rosemary  --  A sweet blend of lavender, sage, and rosemary.

Lavender:Tassi  --  A clean lavender, similar to Tasmanian Lavender Essential Oil.

Lavender:Twilight  --  Sweet lavender, lilac, tonka bean, and ylang ylang. Compare to Lu$h Twilight. Will turn brown or grey over time due to the vanillin content.

Lemon Fresh  --  A fresh fusion of lemon, bergamot, yuzu, mandarin, lychee flower, orange blossom, oakmoss, gingerflower, and white santal. Similar to "Lemon Sugar" by Fresh.

Lemon Peppercorn  --  Lush rich mixture of black peppercorns, warm spices, and lemon. 

Lemon Raspberry Vanilla  --  A lightly tart lemon with a hint of sweet raspberry and vanilla.

London Calling  --  Black tea, lemon, & sugar.

London Mist  --  This is a floral and lightly earthy scent overlaid with moss and swirling mist.

London Rain  --  A warm, rainy day in a London park...early morning dew, a steady afternoon rain shower, and a final downpour at dusk. Rain, citrus, florals, and wood.  Compare to Jo Malone "Rain & Angelica".

Magic in the Air --  Almond flower, white iris, fruit, & whipped vanilla (BBW type).

Magic Marshmallow  --  Magic Spell plus creamy marshmallow.

Magic Spell  --  Victoria's Secret "Love Spell" type.  Lots of rich fruit with apple blossom, rose, and jasmine.

Malabar Coast  --  A rich and sultry blend of warm spices featuring crushed black peppercorns.

Mango Raspberry Gelato  --  A sweet and creamy blend of mango, raspberry, and lemon.

Mistletoe  --  Fir, spruce, and Siberian pine sweetened with a touch of berries and green apple.

Mountain Meadow Breeze  --  Green clover, spring flowers, and fresh mountain air. Similar to BBW "Green Clover & Aloe".

Napa Valley Sunset   --  Figs, fig leaves, pear, and musk (BBW type).

Neroli & Cedar  --  Neroli and Cedarwood.

Olive Branch --  Herbaceous florals, sweet mandarin, lemon, musk, and vanilla. A refreshing take on the Lu$h scent.

Patchouli Essential Oil  --  Dark Patchouli Essential Oil. As Patchouli Essential oil ages, it turns from light yellow to a deep amber, with the aroma becoming smoother and richer. This is a premium, aged patchouli, having that smoothness and richness while at the same time being very fresh. Lovely in both wax and soap.

Peony White Tea  --  A wonderful white tea fragrance. Some floral and berries, softer than "White Tea & Berries".

Pink Berry & Tonka Bean -- Pink berries, bergamot, sugar cane, pikake, musk, and Tonka bean.

Pink Chocolate Fluff  --  Pink roses, chocolate, and marshmallow fluff.

Pink Peppermint  --  Pink Sugar, peppermint, and vanilla.

Pink Roses & Chocolate  --  A decadent scent of rich chocolate, sweet berries, and fragrant pink roses.

Pink Sand Beach  --  Similar to YC "Pink Sands".  Fruit, flowers, and a splash of coconut cream.

Pink Sari  --  LISTED AS "Pink S*ri". Pink Sugar and Patchouli Essential Oil. The aroma of patchouli was pervasive in cloth and clothing exported from India in the 19th century. The scent became an indicator of true ‘Oriental’ fabric, so much so that English and French garment makers were obliged to scent their imitation products with patchouli to ensure their acceptance in the marketplace.

Pink Sugar  --  Our version of Aquolina "Pink Sugar".  Pink cotton candy, raspberry jam, lemon drops, caramel, and musk.

Pistachio & Magnolia  --  Rich pistachio milk and magnolia flowers. A strange combination that ends up smelling divine.

Pistachio & Rosewater Cake  --  Cake lightly scented with rosewater and pistachio. You can smell the cake, and even a little buttercream, but it is not really a bakery scent; very elegant.

Port Royal  --  Smoky red birch, sweet tobacco, grapefruit, lemon, cinnamon, and rum.

Pure Shampoo  --  A fresh and invigorating shampoo scent. Similar to Aveda "Shampure".

Red Pear  --  Juicy ripe red pear.

Rose Geranium  --  A delightfully fresh, sweet, rose scent with leafy green undertones. Nearly identical to Rose Geranium Essential Oil.

Rosewood  --  The dry and lightly sweet scent of Brazilian Rosewood. Drier than Neroli & Cedar. Will naturally darken over time.

Shaving Cream  --  Fresh & clean shaving cream scent with almost no cologne.  A light scent in soap.

Sea Island Grapefruit  --  Compare to the Votivo classic. Crisp, sweet grapefruit with a kiss of white orchids.

Snow White  --  Crisp sweet apple, sweet neroli, a hint of floral, and hint of honey type sweetness.  A nod to to Lu$h.

Southern Mint Tea  --  Iced black tea, lemon, sugar, peppermint, and spearmint.

Strawberry Seeds  --  Sweet and zesty strawberry.

Sugar Cane & Mint  --  Sugar crystals infused with fresh peppermint and spearmint leaves.

Sultana  --  Fruit-floral blend of bergamot, apricot, black currant, strawberry, rose, jasmine, and musk. Contains essential oils.

Sweater Weather  --  BBW type… juniper berry, eucalyptus, sage, and lingering mint.

Teakwood & Coconut  --  Aged teakwood, coconut, cologne, island flowers, tonka bean, amber, & musk.

Thai Temple Garden  -- Dark roses, incense, and aromatic sandalwood mingling with ancient, mossy Buddhist statues. 

That Man  --  Spicy & fresh manly stuff…leather, tobacco, musk, teakwood, cedar, sandalwood, and black pepper. 

Tobacco Sugar  --  A decadent twist on Aquolina "Blue Sugar"… tobacco leaf, caramel, orange sugar, and bourbon.

Tonic  --  A fresh and green scent with geranium and rosemary.  Compare to Clarins "Body Tonic". 

Tonka Bean & Citrus --  Toasted Tonka bean, light spices, citrus, and cedar.

Vanilla Anise  -- Violet vanilla orchid, lightly spiced with wild fennel & star anise. Similar to Jo Malone "Vanilla & Anise". 

Vanilla Balsam -- Balsam fir and cedar softened by a mellow vanilla (BBW type).

Vanilla Rootbeer  --  Lightly spiced fizzy Rootbeer with vanilla. This soap will turn darker brown over time from the vanilla.

Violets  --  Parma violets in bloom.

Warung  --  Indonesian Dark Patchouli Essential Oil with chamomile tea and lemon.  In Indonesia, you can enjoy some tea and a meal at a warung , which is a small family-run restaurant!

Wasabi  --  A blend of both fresh and earthy scents: eucalyptus, ginger,  peppermint, camphor, amber, thyme, &  wasabi.

White Sari  --  Listed as "White S*ri". Pristine white roses and rich, dark patchouli.

Winter  --  A fresh scent of fir needles, oakmoss, allspice, clove, and a hint of orange (BBW type).
